The Tohono O’odham reservation stretches across 2.7 million acres of the Sonoran Desert. But members of the tribe live on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico Border, and they often find themselves caught in the middle of the battle between drug smugglers and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.
