Michelle And Her Dad Won The Make Dad A Captain Contest

Congratulation from Lite Rock 95.9 and Mitchell Creek Marina to Michelle Meadows and her dad Alton Brown on winning the “Make Dad The Captain” contest!

Michelle and Alton are sure to have a blast with a three night- four day houseboat rental on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake.

This is what Michelle told us about her dad:

“My dad was always the hardest working man I have ever known. He has ALWAYS treasured his family and put them above anything on this earth. First with his own two daughters, then with 4 grandchildren, and now with a great grandchild. Now, at 77 years old, he is retired and in the beginning stages of dementia. He lives for the times that we are all able to get together and enjoy each other’s company. I’m afraid it might not be too long before he is unable to walk without assistance of a walker or wheelchair and I would love to have the opportunity to get us all together like this before that happens and before he is unable to recall our gatherings. He never would go on vacations to the beach with us. He used to say that he had rather be sitting on a hollow log somewhere. The lake is one place that he did enjoy and that’s why I think this would be perfect. There is not a more deserving individual and I hope you make this special man your choice! Thank you!”

Mitchell Creek MarinaLife on the water comes at a slower pace.  Full of fun and and relaxation Mitchell Creek Marina and Resort features houseboat and cabin rentals as well as full service marina and restaurant and is one of the premier locations on Dale Hollow Lake.
