Titans Defensive Tackle Karl Klug

It’s your chance to meet two Titans players Friday at Cookeville’s Cane Creek Park.

Lite Rock 95.9, Cumberland Insurance, and 106-9 Kicks Country, the Upper Cumberland’s Official Titans Station, presents Titans Caravan 2015. Defensive Lineman Karl Klug and Offensive Lineman Chance Warmack arrive at 5:30pm to sign autographs for you and your kids. Plus, T-Rac will be on hand to visit with your kids. And you can talk about the just-completed NFL Draft with the Voice of the Titans, Mike Keith.

Look for us Friday afternoon at Cane Creek Park, just off Jackson Avenue. It’s all free. Get there early….the Titans pull out at 6:30pm. One autographed item per person. Don’t have a Titans item to get autographed? No worries. The Titans will bring along commemorative items you can get signed.

It’s an amazing experience for your kids to meet an NFL player….so come be with us Friday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Cookeville’s Cane Creek Park. It’s presented by Cumberland Insurance. Jana Lack Of Stone Memorial Honored As Dream Big Scholar

jana lackLite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union recognized Jana Lack, a senior at Stone Memorial High School in Crossville, as a Dream Big Scholar.

Lack ranks in the top 10 of her class at Stone Memorial and has gone to great lengths in the last four years to maintain straight A’s in all honors, AP, and Dual credit classes.

Lack also loves art and her original artwork has won prizes throughout Middle and East Tennessee. It has been showcased in the Knoxville Museum of Art.

An active member in the school’s HOSA Club for three years, Lack hopes to pursue a career as a Pediatric Oncology surgeon. She currently serves as the club’s president. Lack is also a member of the Beta Club.

Outside school, Lack has worked for two years at Lefty’s BBQ. She is also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she serves in the nursery.

Jana Lack will now be eligible to win scholarship money from Lite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union.

Monterey’s Ruby Salinas Named Dream Big Scholar

Ruby SalinasLite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union salute Ruby Salinas of Monterey High School.

Ruby plans to attend Tennessee Technological University majoring in Merchandising and Design with a minor in business. Outside the classroom, Ruby works with local and international missions.

Her ultimate goal is to be a local business owner.

Andrew Conner Of Pickett County Honored

Andrew-ConnerLite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union salute Andrew Conner of Pickett County High School.

Conner is a three year member of Beta Club where he is presently an officer. He has served as a class officer, and student council member.

He is a four year starter for the Pickett County High Bobcat football team where he has also played every position at least once. Conner has been named all-district in football three years and honorable mention in the fourth.

Conner plans on attending Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Livingston in August of 2015 and getting his degree in welding.

As a Dream Big Scholar, Conner is now eligible to win a $1,500 scholarship at the end of the school year from The Tennessee Credit Union and Lite Rock 95.9.

White County Student Hunter Kline Recognized

Hunter-Kline-White-County-High-School-224x300Lite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union honor Hunter Kline, a senior at White County High School, as a Dream Big Scholar.

At the age of three Hunter went into a diabetic coma , he has type two diabetes and has no mom or dad in his life.

Kline has played football, helps out with the Special Olympics, and CDC at the high school.

When Hunter isn’t involved with school work or sports he is always at church and young life projects. After High School he is planning to be a Wildlife Biologist.

Hunter Kline will now be eligible to win scholarship money from Lite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union.

Van Buren’s Savannah Medley Named Dream Big Scholar

Savannah-Medley-Van-Buren-County-High-School--300x224Lite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union recognized Savannah Medley, a senior at Van Buren County High School, as a Dream Big Scholar.

Medley plays softball for Van Buren County High School and is also involved in extracurricular activities like the Spanish Club, FBLA and FCCLA where she serves as President.

Savannah plans on becoming a registered Nurse.

Medley is now be eligible to win The Dream Big Scholarship scholarship from Lite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union.

Grundy County High School’s Hank Lowrie Acknowledged

James-Hank-Lowie-300x224Lite Rock 95.9 and The Tennessee Credit Union honored Hank Lowrie, a senior at Grundy County High School, as a Dream Big Scholar.

Lowrie has been admitted to Tennesseee Tech to study Fisheries Science, and will be a member of the Tech Bass Fishing Team.

Hank hopes to become a professional fisherman on the B.A.S.S. and FLW trails.

When Hank isn’t working on school work or fishing he assist his father in running the Tennessee district of the National Bass Fishing trail, Club President of the GCHS Bass Team, helps his mother with the Grundy County Relay For Life fundraising for ACS, and Works part time for a lawn service.

Hank Lowrie could win the Dream Big Scholarship from Lite Rock 95.9 and Tennessee Credit Union.
