London says it won’t renew Uber’s license

London’s public transport authority announced Friday it will not renew Uber’s license that expires next week. The decision not to renew affects more than 40,000 drivers and more than three million Londoners who use Uber as a cheaper alternative to the city’s iconic but costly black cabs.
