U.S. begins formal withdrawal from Paris Climate Accord

The Trump administration has official begun the process of withdrawing from the landmark 2015 Paris climate agreement. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo sent a formal notice to the U.N. on Monday. The U.S. withdrawal doesn’t become complete until the day after the 2020 election. Source
