The growing number of teens engaging in sexting, messages with sexual content.

It’s risky behavior that exposes them to potential predators, bullying among their peers and often a sense of shame. Messages, images and in some cases videos of a sexual nature or with explicit content.  Cookeville High School guidance counselor Lori Strode and Detective Roger Cooper with the Putnam County Sherriff’s Department join us to examine this dangerous and growing trend and its impact.

The potential for health risks as several pain clinics close across Tennessee.

Comprehensive Pain Specialists recently announced that 21 of their clinics across the state will close at the end of July, inlcuding one in Cookeville. Director Barbara Kanapel and Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist Suzanne Angel work with the Smith County Drug Prevention Coalition.
