The Onion buys Alex Jones’ Infowars at a bankruptcy auction

Satirical publication The Onion bought the conspiracy theorist outlet Infowars, but now its former owner Alex Jones is going to court to stop the sale. Infowars was auctioned off after a judge ordered Jones to pay a $1 billion penalty to victims’ families from the Sandy Hook school massacre for his false and defamatory claims. Source
