Cheryl Vick found the dog she named Hope limping across the road a few weeks ago. Cheryl knew the dog needed help, so she stopped her car and slowly went up to her. The dog’s soulful eyes let Cheryl know the dog was safe to approach. Cheryl owns a non-profit animal rescue called Open Heart Rescue. Hope needs surgery to remove the huge benign mass that runs down her right front leg. Since Cheryl has many other dogs at her rescue and she is non-profit, she’s raising funds for Hope’s surgery.
