“Sesame Street’s” impact on kids over the last 50 years

With kids home from school across the country, parents may be doing something they’ve done for generations: turn on the landmark children’s program “Sesame Street.” As always, the program is keeping pace with the times with the launch of their “Caring for Each Other” initiative. They’re creating new content on healthy habits like hand-washing, and the right way to cough or sneeze.
