Oregon governor declares emergency over fentanyl crisis

Oregon paved the way as the first state to decriminalize drug use in 2020, in an effort to instead focus on addiction and recovery. But due to Portland’s growing fentanyl crisis, Gov. Tina Kotek this week declared a 90-day emergency to address the increase in overdose deaths. Adam Yamaguchi has more. Source
