NYC considers peer mentoring amid a rise in hate crimes

The NYPD is launching initiatives to address a surge in hate crimes targeting Jewsih communities in 2019. Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration is considering recruiting individuals who committed anti-semitic crimes as teens to educate the city’s youth.
