Los Angeles mayor declares citywide curfew starting at 8 p.m.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced a citywide curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. after four nights of violent protests. Garcetti said the National Guard would not be deployed. “This is not 1992,” he said, referring to the Rodney King riots. Source
