Ken Cuccinelli: Statue of Liberty poem welcomes “people from Europe”

Ken Cuccinelli, the acting head of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, defended his remarks about the poem on the Statue of Liberty welcoming immigrants who can “stand on their own two feet.” And he sparked a new controversy by saying the poem referred to immigrants “coming from Europe.” Source
