John Kasich on mass shootings: “A lot of it is mental illness”

Ohio Gov. and Republican presidential candidate John Kasich said a large contributing factor to mass shootings in the U.S. is mental illness, and he said he has directed his state to treat the mentally ill. Kasich also said the rise of extremism is partially to blame. Source
