How “Sesame Street” has educated children for 50 years

“Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary Celebration” has been streaming on HBO Kids and will get a special airing Sunday on PBS, where the groundbreaking children’s show made its debut back in 1969. Since then, it’s estimated that 86 million Americans watched the series as children. Dana Jacobson took a stroll down the street to celebrate the golden anniversary. Source
