Florida struggles to process surge in unemployment claims

Since the coronavirus pandemic forced the U.S. economy into a tailspin, unemployment numbers have been rising to record heights. In Florida alone, nearly 600,000 people have applied for benefits since March 15, and the state is struggling to process the surge.
