Could Picky Eating Be Linked To Anxiety

Do you have a child that’s a picky eater? Sometimes it’s a phase, sometimes it’s rebelion, but researchers at Duke University found that children with moderate to selective eating are nearly twice as likely to have increased anxiety and those with moderate and severe picky eating can be associated with depression and ADHD that may need intervention. Lead author Nancy Zucker said they’re not talking about children that won’t eat broccoli or tomatoes. These are children that defy authority and will not eat foods provided no matter what.
