Tennessee Tech’s Eric Brown discusses the critical importance of cyber security.

Not many days go by when we don’t read news about scams – web, email, text, phone, social media – every technology we use is a place where bad things can seemingly happen. But a Tennessee Tech expert says simple things that we would never do in person, we’re doing on the online world, and thus, we’re making ourselves vulnerable. Eric Brown is Associate Director for the Cyber Security Education, Research, and Outreach Center.

Dr. Dianne Murphy discusses coming home, college athletics, and Tennessee Tech.

When the football season ends, the process to remake Tucker Stadium will begin. It’s a project that’s long awaited, and it’s being helped along by a Tennessee Tech alum who has a background in college athletics. Dr. Dianne Murphy served as Athletics Director for both the University of Denver, and Columbia University. Now she’s bringing that background back to Cookeville.
