Butterfly Is Sheila’s Pet Of The Week

Butterfly is a 2 year old lab mix.  She’s as sweet  &  calm as a Butterfly but a little bigger than one! Just look at those big paws. She’s taller than most labs but very gentle. She’d be great with kids and other dogs. Butterfly has been spayed. She’s ready to go home to a loving family.  You can adopt her from the Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter.

Support Local Talent At The Backdoor Playhouse

This is an award winning musical featuring puppets and college aged characters that talk with VERY adult language.  So, even though it’s a very funny play, it’s not suitable for the kiddos.  The characters are faced with what happens to their life after college.  Where does life take them? November 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, & 15 at 8pm with a late show at 10pm on November 13 and an additional matinee show on November 15 at 2pm. Doors/box office open 30 minutes before show time. Thanks to Mark Creter, Theater Professor at TTU for coming in on my morning show!

A Halloween Light Show

Someone loves Halloween so much, they created a light show of their home for everyone to see. Not only is that pretty amazing, but to top it off, it’s synchronized to Meghan Trainor’s song, “All About That Bass”. Have a safe and happy Halloween. Enjoy!!

What Do You Give On Halloween?

As I was grocery shopping, I had on my list to get candy for the trick or treaters.  Suddenly, I passed by a display & had a devilish thought.  What if I gave them avocados instead of all that sugary candy? Avocados, the healthy “Halloween Candy”. No, I didn’t buy them. What stopped me? The thought of the kids throwing them at my house in protest. 🙂  I chose the “cool” candy instead. What will you be handing out??

A Doggy Bucket List

A London man loved his Cocker Spaniel so much, that he made a bucket list to share with him.  He found out Dylan, the 9 year old dog, had cancer that had spread through his entire body.  Michael Wolkind said it was about enjoying the rest of his dogs last days, which the dog also seems to enjoy.  He is one of the few dogs that got permission to eat in a fancy restaurant and be served steak!
