The TSSAA games bring a lot of folks to town, even celebrities. Tim McGraw & Faith Hill have family playing in the Blue Cross Bowl. Amy Adams will portray rock icon Janis Joplin in the biopic “Get It While You Can.” Jean-Marc Vallee of “Dallas Buyers Club” fame will direct. Joplin died in 1970 at the age of 27. My Pets of the Week are Roscoe and Raisin. They are a little under a year old, males. Already neutered and up to date on shots, each would be $65 to adopt, but since they are such BFFs Cookeville / Putnam County Animal Shelter would let both of them go home for $100. More details have been released about Robin Williams’ suicide. The comedian suffered a horrible condition called Lewy Body Dementia. It’s a condition that often gets confused with Parkinson’s and can cause hallucinations. Medicines used to treat Parkinson’s may actually make symptoms much worse. He had been on Parkinson’s meds for a while. His doctors agree that the disease was a critical factor that may have led to his suicide.
