Laney is a 6 year Staffordshire Terrier in need of a loving home. She’s a bit over weight and needs to lose a few pounds, so she’s on a diet plan. She is great with cats, other dogs and children. Lite Rock 95.9 won the large business category at the Crossville Christmas Parade.  Stonecom Radio’s Karli Threet attended the breakfast this morning at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville to accept the award. Actress Julie Ann Emery was grand marshal at the parade on Saturday. She had fun seeing the Cumberland Co. High Jets’ band, her alma mater, and visiting with members of the Cumberland Co Playhouse, where she got her start. Julie rode in the vehicle with her niece and nephew. Remember books like Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret….Blubber…..Tiger Eyes, all from Judy Blume?  For the first time in 15 years she will publish a new adult novel.  In The Unlikely Event tells the story of a series of non-fictional plane crashes that happened between 1951 and 1952. The book will go on sale in June.

It’s a very important job, being a reindeer for Santa.  One that many little fawns dream about. This long line proves it.  🙂

As I was playing frisbee in the backyard with my dog this weekend, I heard a big commotion coming from our area crows. They roost in a field of tress next to our house. I looked up and saw the beautiful wing span of a hawk overhead.  The crows did NOT want him in their roost area and ran him off to my backyard. I quickly ran inside and grabbed my camera. I’m happy with these shots of such a beautiful, majestic bird!  ~Sheila Scruggs

Little Kim is 1 year old and is very loving. $70 adoption fee includes her being spayed and vetted. Kim has beautiful black spots and gold colors in her stripes. She loves to play but is also a cuddler. She gets along with other cats, kids and dogs.
