Perhaps it’s worth taking a day trip to one of the most popular cities in the South, right her in Tennessee!  Don’t forget that the baseball team, Nashville Sounds, has a new park in downtown Nashville, too. Their game always ends with a fireworks show.

Bugs the bunny is about a year old. He’s very sweet and cuddly. He’s the most laid back bunny we have ever known. Great with kids!  He will let you hold him like a baby. Bugs doesn’t even kick when you pick him up. He just goes limp and wants to be held. Adopt him from the Cookeville Putnam County Shelter next to the Hyder Burks Pavilion, Monday through Saturday Noon to 6pm.

A video called “Oreo Trick Shots” is going viral.  The guy in it is shooting Oreo cookies into a glass of milk, but it’s not as lame as it sounds. Some of these tricks will make you want to cheer! I’d say by how good he is, he doesn’t work and has the time to practice these cool shots.

The latest over-the-top food comes from New York restaurant called Sticky’s Fingers Joint, which is serving Cotton Candy Fries. It’s French fries, smothered in caramel sauce, strawberry Pop Rocks and cotton candy. Talk about sugar overload!

Livingston’s Lisa Veneshia and her friends do their version of the “Sweet Child Of Mine” car scene from the movie. They nailed it and made it even funnier than the original! What do you think?

Nashville’s Gun Club invites you to the 2015 Shoot for the Cure on Saturday, April 25 with registration beginning at 8:30 am. This is a skeet shooting event with prizes up for grabs and lunch will be served. Thanks to John McGrath and his son Jack for coming in with me this morning. Jack has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Proceeds from the event go to the local MDA Chapter.

Earth day started in 1970 when Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson wanted to promote global awareness.  The day gained a lot of support from all sides. Forty five years later, we still celebrate earth day.  How much do you know about this day? Take the quiz and see.

45 years ago today, in 1970, Elton John set out on his first world tour as a solo artist. He was supporting his self titled second album. The popularity of the hit single, Your Song, made him well known in the states by then. By the time his world tour was over, his entire life would change forever.

Have you ever seen a murmuration of starlings? It’s rare and beautiful. This was taken in Southern Israel. Who knew starlings were so graceful?

Fans are doing the #KylieJennerChallenge to make their lips appear fuller.  They suction their lips using the opening of a cup, jar or similar item until they appear swollen and sometimes bruised. The video shows the surprise on the faces, literally, of the fans.
