What’s The Best Condiment? Find Out Here………

Most of the time you don’t think much when you add condiments to your burger or hot dog but some are actually worse than others. Salsa is the healthiest. It’s mostly vegetables and one tablespoon has 5 calories. Mustard isn’t bad either, it’s rich in antioxidents and vitamin b. On the other end the only good thing about ketchup is tomatoes, outside of that is mostly salt and sugar. Mayo is probably the worst, it’s mostly pure fat and one tablespoon has a hundred calories.

George Harrison’s Guitar Sold For How Much??

Beatles memorabilia always brings top dollar and a guitar once used by George Harrisson during their shows drew $490 thousand. It was auctioned off by Juliens. Other items included a suit Elvis wore in Las Vegas sold for $122,000, Jimi Hendrix’s vest went for $59,000 and a t-shirt once worn by Madonna fetched $25,000. We do love out celebs.

We Say Goodbye to Blues Legend BB King

Some facts about B.B. King:

  • King was born September 16th, 1925 in Indianola, Mississippi to sharecropper parents.
  • He started out as a DJ in 1948 and recorded his first album a year later.
  • 74 of his songs made Billboard’s R&B chart, including his 1970 crossover hit “The Thrill Is Gone.”
  • King won seven Grammys and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
  • King, who married and divorced twice, is survived by 15 children

Nashville Zoo Has Clouded Leopard Cubs

The Nashville Zoo has raised 26 clouded leopard cubs since 2009. There are currently eight clouded leopards at the zoo, with three adults off exhibit. If you go to the zoo, you’re liked to see this pair of growing cubs.

East Tennessee’s 10 Year Old Sensation, Emi Sunshine

Emi Sunshine was on the morning show to talk about her upcoming charity concert at Crossville’s Palace Theater, Friday, May 15 at 7pm. Proceeds from this show go to the House of Hope. Emi is a 10 year old singing sensation who also writes her own songs.  Listen to how poised she is in her interview.

Summer Reading For The Kids

Thanks to Amanda Yother with the Putnam County Library for coming by the morning show. The Putnam County Library invites kids to sign up for the annual Summer Reading Program beginning on Friday, May 22. There will be a chance to win a prize for each show you attend. This year’s theme is “Every Hero Has a Story.” The program is free and open to all children, ages birth and up. Shows will include Wild Animals with Bob Tarter, The Spectacular Science Show by Mr. Bond and the Science Guys, Heroes of Art, Greek Heroes Day, Super Hero Activities, Summer Cinema, along with crafts, prizes and more.
