Sheila’s Pet Of The Week: Black Panther

Panther is about 3 months old. He’s got a laid back personality, especially for a kitten. Panther just melts when you pick him up. He loves for you to talk sweet to him, play with  and explore the room.  He’s happiest to be next to his favorite person. Adopt him today at the Cookeville/Puntam County Animal Shelter on Gainesboro  Grade in Cookeville, just past the Hyder Burks Ag Pavilion.

Are You Using The Right Protection

Eye doctors have some advice for everyone this summer. When you buy sunglasses make sure they have 100% U.V. protection. Oversized glasses are even better. Color or how dark they are doesn’t matter. Light color lenses can still have 100% U.V. Protection. You don’t have to spend a lot either. You can find $10 sunglasses that’ll do the trick.

The Red Burger

Burger King Japan has created the Aka Burger. Aka in Japanese means red, and this burger is RED. The bun is red, the cheese is red and you can choose to have it with either beef or fried chicken. Oh, and it comes with red hot sauce as well. Apparently they use tomato powder to create the bright red color. You may remember last year’s black burger from Japan with a black bun and black cheese dyed with squid ink.
