Thursday, March 29th, Upperman High School will give their last performance with this cast in the musical Oklahoma! There are five seniors in this show. Theater director, Renee Craig, came in on the morning show along with the seniors: Erin Dunn, Miranda Davis, Emma Ledbetter, Mateo Davis & Katie Davis. You can hear the interview below. Sheila Says: Adam Cunningham To Perform On Voice Finale
Good news! They are bringing Nashville artist, Adam Cunningham, back for The Voice finale! He will perform with other season finalists Bebe Rexha and Keisha Renee. Adam also has an Upper Cumberland connection. His wife Courtney Qualls Cunningham is from Rickman. I had a chance to talk to Adam by phone thanks to local gal, Courtney setting it up for us.

Sunday, November 5, 2017, marks the end of Daylight Saving Time as we “fall back”. Be sure to move your clocks back an hour when you go to bed Saturday night. The actual change on Nov. 5th will occur at 2 a.m. What will you do with the extra hour ? Sleep? Here’s a fun montage to help you celebrate.

It’s an evening of celebrating the legacy of Rising Above Ministries, and looking forward to what is in store for 2018 during their Legacy Vision Dinner on Tuesday, November 7th. It takes place at The River Community Church in Cookeville at 6pm. It is open to anyone who would like to know more about how they can help support the ministry. Sheila Says: Eclipse Fun With Kids & Teachers
The excitement over the solar eclipse was felt all over the Upper Cumberland. I had a great time visiting with the staff and students at Prescott South Middle School in Cookeville and Gainesboro Elementary. It was fun to get their take on the event the Friday before it happened. What did they think would take place? How would their animals react? Here are some of their thoughts……….
