Sheila Says: A Queen Will Replace Downton Abbey When It Ends

When Downton Abbey Ends, Queen Victoria will take their place.  If American viewers loved the manners, costumes, settings and plots of 1920s Downton, they’ll love the real-history story of teen-queen Victoria from an era almost 100 years earlier. Doctor Who alum Jenna Coleman will play the Queen.

Sheila Says: This Tiny Implant Monitors The Brain & Melts Away

This is something that’s just too cool not to tell you about. There’s a Tiny implant that monitors brain injuries, then melts away. It’s about the size of a grain of rice & can be placed under the skin. This is great because it can eliminate the need for large, bulky  hardwired systems that leave  patients open to infection.

Sheila Says: Rock Star Penguins At The Zoo

A little penguin was born January 8th at the Cincinnati zoo and keepers there decided to name it Bowie because it shares the same birthday of the late singer. All of this took place prior to David Bowie’s death Sunday. Keepers were also considering naming the bird Elvis because Elvis Presley’s birthday is also January 8th, but they already have a King Penguin named Elvis. Pretty soon they’ll be able to start a band with all those rock star penguins.
