Sheila Says: A Story Of Hope Learn About Her Journey

Cheryl Vick found the dog she named Hope limping across the road a few weeks ago. Cheryl knew the dog needed help, so she stopped her car and slowly went up to her. The dog’s soulful eyes let Cheryl know the dog was safe to approach. Cheryl owns a non-profit animal rescue called Open Heart Rescue. Hope needs surgery to remove the huge benign mass that runs down her right front leg. Since Cheryl has many other dogs at her rescue and she is non-profit, she’s raising funds for Hope’s surgery. Listen to her story here……….

Sheila Says: It’s Random Acts Of Kindness Week

This is National Random Acts Of Kindness Week. If everyone took just one minute out of their busy days, even for ONE day, imagine what kind of impact it would have………then spread that out into one week!! Here are some ideas:

  1.  Leaving your waiter a big tip.
  2.  Paying for the person behind you when you’re getting coffee.
  3.  Taking flowers to a random person at a nursing home.
  4.  Giving blood at a local blood bank
  5. Smile at someone that obviously needs one
