Judge orders State Department to start releasing Clinton’s emails

The State Department is working on a schedule to release the presidential candidate’s private e-mails from her time as secretary of state. A judge rejected a plan to release them just before the 2016 primaries. Nancy Cordes reports from Cedar Falls, Iowa, where Clinton answered reporters’ questions for the first time in nearly a month. Takata declares 33.8 million airbags defective

The government is preparing the largest consumer recall ever involving Takata airbags that have the potential to explode. Federal regulators say the number of vehicles that need to be fixed has doubled from 17 million to nearly 34 million. Five deaths and more than 100 injuries have been linked to the airbags. Tornadoes, flash floods slam Texas, Oklahoma

Reports of 29 tornadoes darkened the skies over Oklahoma and Texas on Tuesday. One ripped across the north Texas town of Runaway Bay, and search and rescue crews looked through the rubble. Vicente Arenas reports. Source

Cruise ship freed after grounding on reef

The Norwegian Dawn cruise ship was grounded on a reef near Bermuda early Wednesday morning, and is now anchored and awaiting inspection. The cruise line says there were no injuries. Susan McGinnis reports. Source
