Attacker sues Uber driver he beat up, demanding $5 million

There’s rising controversy after Benjamin Golden, the former Taco Bell executive who was captured on video assaulting an Uber driver, announced he’s suing the driver. Golden was arrested for the October 2015 attack on Edward Caban in Orange County, California. Now Golden claims Caban recorded him illegally and wants $5 million. Americans released from Iran reunite with family, friends

Among the five Americans released in the U.S.-Iran prisoner swap, reporter Jason Rezaian, former Marine Amir Hekmati and Pastor Saeed Abedini are being treated at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Trump rallies Iowa voters, Cruz stumps in N.H.

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are accusing each other of feeling the campaign pressure, as Cruz launched a new attack Monday against the Republican frontrunner. Candidates are busy on the trail, less than two weeks before the Iowa caucuses. Trump is holding three events Tuesday in Iowa, the most he has held in a single day of campaigning. Michigan governor faces backlash over Flint water crisis

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder says it’s not unfair of his critics to say the Flint water crisis is his Hurricane Katrina, but he’s rejecting calls to step down. The dangerous water contamination led to protests Monday outside Snyder’s home. Flint’s water has been poisoned with lead for months. Adriana Diaz reports. Source

Pregnant women warned about Zika virus outbreak

Zika virus, a mosquito-borne virus that can cause birth defects, has seen an uptick in Latin America and the Caribbean. The CDC is now advising pregnant women to avoid travel to 14 countries. Dr. Jon LaPook reports. Source
