Four natives of Shreveport, Louisiana, formed the band, Seratones, two years ago behind the powerful gospel-trained vocals of lead singer A.J. Haynes. In their national television debut, the Seratones perform “Chandelier” from their debut album, “Get Gone,” releasing May 6. Source

The Dish: New England Chef Matt Jennings

Last year Matt Jennings opened Townsman in Boston where he serves what he calls “modern farmhouse cuisine.” He’s received four James Beard Award nominations for the Best Chef: Northeast. Morning Rounds: Ovarian cancer, warning signs for cardiac arrest

A government advisory board is sounding an alarm about ovarian cancer. Every year more than 22,000 women in the U.S. are diagnosed. Because it’s often caught too late, more than 14,000 die. Also, each year there are over 350,000 out-of-hospital cases of sudden cardiac arrest, but recent research suggests there may be warning signs before the often-deadly condition strikes.
