Tropical storm on the way for Memorial Day weekend?

The Memorial Day weekend is expected to be a wash-out for millions of Americans, with the year’s first tropical storm warning posted along the South Carolina coast, and another day of heavy rain expected across parts of the Plains. Angry protests dog Trump campaign in Calif.

On Friday the presumptive Republican presidential nominee campaigned in San Diego, the busiest border crossing between the U.S. and Mexico. Outside the convention center where he spoke was held one of the largest protests organized against him. About three dozen people were arrested when anti-Trump demonstrators clashed with Trump supporters and police. Carter Evans reports. Source

The Harvard study of adult development began in 1938. It followed two groups of young men, some from inner city Boston and others who studied at Harvard. Their lives gave researchers evidence that our relationships with others keep us happy and healthy. Researchers find superbug resistant to “last resort” antibiotic

Defense Department researchers announced the arrival of a “nightmare” bacteria in the U.S. They say the superbug is resistant to one of our strongest antibiotics. Hulk Hogan’s Gawker lawsuit bankrolled by Silicon Valley billionaire

Hulk Hogan received nearly $10 million from PayPal founder Peter Thiel to pay his legal fees in his lawsuit against the website Gawker. Hogan sued the gossip blog for publishing video of the pro wrestler having sex with a friend’s wife. He was awarded $140 million earlier this year. John Blackstone has more. Source
