FBI’s fight to expand powers to collect information

Google, Facebook, Yahoo and various rights groups oppose legislation that would expand the type of information the FBI is allowed to gather using whats called a “national security letter.” It’s the latest in a series of cases pitting the two sides against each other over privacy and security concerns. The greatest farewell for boxing legend Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali has been laid to rest after a memorial in Louisville, Kentucky. The three-time boxing heavyweight boxing champion died last week at age 74. The world watched as he was celebrated as the greatest of all time An estimated 100,000 people chanted his name and tossed flowers on his hearse. The FDA is revising recall procedures

Government investigators focused on two recalls from 2014 where they said “consumers remained at risk of illness or death for several weeks after FDA knew of potentially hazardous food.” Investigators found it took 165 days from when the product was identified, to the date of the firm’s voluntary recall.
