Massive rescue effort to save a pregnant manatee

A complex rescue operation is helping a pregnant manatee return to the wild. A Coast Guard plane touched down Tuesday in Florida, carrying the 800-pound marine mammal that was rescued in September off Massachusetts. Less than a month later, veterinarians gave the go-ahead to make the journey from Connecticut back to Florida. David Begnaud reports. Source

Issues That Matter: Gov. Kasich on economy, international trade, TPP

Ohio governor and former Republican presidential candidate John Kasich recently visited the White House to push Congress to approve the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Promoting the economy was a key focus for Kasich on the campaign trail. When he became governor, unemployment in Ohio was 9.2 percent. Now it is 4.7 percent.
