How did the World Economic Forum tackle global health issues?

According to the most recent statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 49 states are reporting widespread influenza activity. Nearly 42 people per 100,000 have been hospitalized and 37 children have died. At least 40 killed in Kabul suicide bombing

At least 40 people were killed after a bomber detonated an ambulance packed with explosives in Kabul, Afghanistan, Saturday morning. More than 100 were injured in the bombing near a security checkpoint on a crowded street. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack just one week after a Taliban attack on a hotel in Kabul that killed 22. Source

Boy, 8, dies from flesh eating bacteria during a bike accident

Liam Flanagan, 8, from Pilot Rock, Oregon died two weeks after a bicycle accident. Doctors believe flesh eating bacteria got into his wound and began to consume the boy’s soft tissues. His community has setup a GoFundMe page to help the family pay for medical and funeral expenses. Source
