The Justice Department has confirmed that federal prosecutors are charging Ryan Routh with the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump. Police arrested Routh on Sept. 15 after a Secret Service agent allegedly spotted him with a high-powered rifle at a Trump-owned golf course.
