Born and raised in rural Georgia, Willow Avalon grew up surrounded by country and gospel music. At the age of 12, she taught herself how to play guitar and was soon performing in local bands. She left home at 15 to pursue her dreams, and at one point, she lived in her car. Things changed with the release of her debut EP, which got over 30 million streams. All 3 black boxes recovered after midair collision near Reagan National Airport

Recovery efforts are resuming Saturday at the site of the nation’s worst air disaster in more than a decade. Investigators now have all three of the black boxes from the Army helicopter and passenger jet that collided in midair near Reagan National Airport and crashed into Washington D.C.’s Potomac River on Wednesday. All 67 people on board the two aircraft were killed. Source

Trump administration planning to implement sweeping tariffs Saturday

The Trump administration is planning to implement sweeping tariffs on two of the closest neighbors and trading partners of the U.S. On Friday, Mr. Trump said there is nothing Canada and Mexico can do to delay 25% tariffs on goods coming into the U.S. from those countries. The U.S. is also placing a 10% tariff on imports from China. Source

American-Israeli among 3 hostages released in ceasefire deal | Special Report

American-Israeli dual national Keith Siegel was among three hostages released by Hamas militants in the war-torn Gaza Strip on Saturday, more than 15 months after they were taken captive by the group during its Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attack. Siegel was freed in Gaza City about two hours after Israelis Yarden Bibas and Ofer Calderon were released in the southern city of Khan Younis. Source
