U.S. and Russia warships nearly collide
The U.S. and Russian militaries accused each other of unsafe actions on Friday after an American guided-missile cruiser and a Russian destroyer nearly collided in the East China Sea. The U.S. 7th Fleet said the Russian destroyer put the safety of the USS Chancellorsville and its crew at risk, forcing it to reverse all engines at full throttle to avoid a collision. Source

The movie “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” earned top honors at the Sundance Film Festival for its poetic portrayal of a changing city. The story is based on the life of Jimmie Fails and follows his journey to reclaim his childhood home in a neighborhood his family can no longer afford. The movie addresses how many black families were forced from their homes in San Francisco because of redevelopment and the lack of affordable housing.
