2 boys shot and killed in California elementary school parking lot

Two boys were shot and killed in Northern California over the weekend. An 11-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were sitting in a van at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in an elementary school parking lot when they were confronted by at least one gunman who opened fire, according to police. Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement sees landslide victory in local elections

The pro-democracy opposition in Hong Kong is celebrating a landslide victory in local elections that saw a record turnout. Almost three million people, or 71 percent of voters, went to the polls.
