Some people in the Philippines are reportedly defying a mandatory evacuation order, even as experts warn of a massive eruption as soon as today. New evidence released before House delivers articles of impeachment

Articles of impeachment are expected to be delivered to the Senate Wednesday afternoon, with a trial against President Trump slated to begin next week. Mitch McConnell has not assured Nancy Pelosi about calling witnesses, but the House Intelligence Committee released new evidence Tuesday that could pressure enough Republicans to call for new witnesses. Sanders-Warren rift takes center stage at Iowa debate

Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren appeared to continue their frosty relations following Tuesday night’s debate in Iowa. Warren says Sanders told her in 2018 that a woman could not be elected president. Sanders denies he ever said that. After the debate ended, the two appeared to exchange words without shaking hands. New Jersey senator: “We’re ready to go to war” over vaccine bill

A controversial bill collapsed this week in New Jersey that would have removed religious exemptions to vaccines and potentially forced parents to put unvaccinated kids into private school or home school.
