Suspect in London Bridge attack linked to 2012 terrorism offense

New information is emerging about the suspect in the deadly terror attack in the U.K. London police said Usman Khan stabbed five people on London Bridge Friday afternoon. Two of those people, a man and a woman, died. Khan was convicted in 2012 for terrorism offenses. The 28-year-old was initially sentenced to 16 years but authorities released him early. Black Friday breaks record in online shopping

Black Friday is in the record books. The busy shopping day saw $7.4 billion in online sales. That’s the second largest online sales day ever. Black Friday was also the biggest day ever for mobile shopping: $2.9 billion in sales came from smartphones alone. Meantime, brick-and-mortar stores saw a sharp decline. Shopper visits decreased by 3 percent when compared to the same days last year. Source

House Democrats charge ahead with next phase of impeachment proceedings

The House Judiciary Committee is set to hold its first impeachment hearing on Wednesday. The panel has offered an invite to President Trump and will decide whether to recommend articles of impeachment against him to the full House.
