Republicans, Democrats debate massive coronavirus relief package

Italy reports deadliest day of coronavirus pandemic

Italy reported 627 coronavirus deaths in one day, making it not only the deadliest for the country, but the deadliest day worldwide since the pandemic began. In the United Kingdom, 65,000 retired nurses and doctors were asked to report for duty to help handle the oncoming wave of cases as the country’s famous pubs have all be ordered to close. Kenny Rogers, country music icon, dies at 81

Country legend Kenny Rogers passed away at the age of 81. Rogers, best known for his song “The Gambler,” sold tens of millions of records and won three Grammys during his 60-year career. His family said they would hold a private service out of a concern for the coronavirus crisis, and are planning a public memorial at a later date. Source
