Super Saturday is expected to bring in bigger sales than Black Friday

Retailers will likely ring up record sales on the last Saturday of the holiday shopping season. With a surge in last-minute gift buyers, Saturday is expected to be the biggest shopping day of the year, even surpassing Black Friday. Trump signs spending bills to avoid government shutdown

As President Trump flew to south Florida Friday, he signed a series of spending bills that will keep the government running and avoid a repeat of last year’s shutdown. The measures authorize $1.4 trillion in federal spending. The legislation increases federal worker’s pay by an average of about 3%. It also authorizes $1.4 billion for security at the U.S.-Mexico border. That’s less than the $6 billion the president demanded last year during the shutdown battle. Source

Impeachment is at a stalemate as Trump heads South for Christmas
