Wisconsin ordered to remove 200,000 from voter registration lists

The battleground state of Wisconsin was ordered to remove more than 200,000 people from its voter registration lists. A judge says they may have moved, but Democrats fear this will unfairly affect votes. President Trump won the state in 2016 by fewer than 23,000 votes, partly because of his surprise victory in Racine County. President Obama won the county in 2008 and 2012. Adriana Diaz reports. Astros fire manager and GM after cheating scandal

Major League Baseball investigators say the Houston Astros were involved in an elaborate spying scheme in 2017 when they won the World Series. Two of the team’s leaders, Manager AJ Hinch and General Manager Jeff Luhnow, were fired Monday as a result. Manuel Bojorquez reports on how far the alleged cheating went. Source

Queen Elizabeth takes personal tone in Harry-Meghan statement

Queen Elizabeth is now expressing her support for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from royal life following “crisis talks” Monday. 2020 Academy Award nominations spark outrage, return of #Oscarssowhite

This year’s Academy Award nominations have created new controversy over whether the Oscars are too white and too male. Nineteen out of the 20 acting nominees on Monday are white. The exception is Best Actress nominee Cynthia Erivo, who starred in the movie “Harriet.” All of the Best Director nominees are men, even though women directed several of this year’s best regarded movies. “Entertainment Tonight” host Kevin Frazier reports on the backlash over the lack of diversity.
