Death toll rising after two avalanches in Turkey

At least 28 people are dead after two avalanches in Turkey. Among the victims are 23 members of a rescue team sent to search for people after the first avalanche. At least 15 people are still trapped under the snow. Crews say fog, heavy snow and strong winds are hampering the rescue efforts. Source

Black History Month: Willie O’Ree, Nzingha Prescod on breaking color barriers

Willie O’Ree broke the NHL’s color barrier in 1958 when he was signed to the Boston Bruins amid the U.S.’s battle with Jim Crow. Nzingha Prescod is an American foil fencer who became the first African-American woman to win an individual medal at the world championships. The two met in Washington, D.C. where they talked about their historic journeys as part of “CBS This Morning’s” Trailblazers series in celebration of Black History Month. Source

Trump-Pelosi feud erupts at State of the Union
