Toddler killed in Philadelphia weekend shootings

A 2-year-old girl was fatally struck by a bullet in her Philadelphia home Sunday when a gunman opened fire through the door, police say. Her mother and a home contractor were also shot and wounded. CBS Philadelphia’s Matt Petrillo reports. Source

Trump says “lousy” Democrats “fight dirty” on impeachment

In a Cabinet meeting at the White House, President Trump said Republicans “have to get tougher and fight” Democrats leading the impeachment inquiry. The president said Democrats “want to impeach me because it’s the only way they’re going to win. They’ve got nothing.” Source

Teen activist Greta Thunberg declines environmental award

Greta Thunberg has decided to decline the Nordic Council’s environmental award and more than $51,000 in prize money. The Swedish teen climate change activist rejected the recognition in an Instagram post on Tuesday because “the climate movement does not need any more awards.” Source
