Inside the Army’s coronavirus field hospital in New York City

The United States Army is opening a field hospital in New York City Monday designed to handle non-COVID-19 patients, freeing existing New York hospitals to expand their fight against the coronavirus. U.S. needs to plan for more coronavirus outbreaks

As the federal government extends its social distancing guidance, Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, joins “CBS This Morning” to explain what needs to happen before the restrictions can be lifted. President Trump extends social distancing guidelines through April

President Trump extended the government’s social distancing guidelines until at least the end of April. How bad could the coronavirus outbreak get?

Federal stay-at-home guidelines that were due to expire Monday have been extended until at least the end of April. More than 143,000 coronavirus cases are reported across America and more than 2,500 people have died. New York has the most cases by far, with more than 59,000, but the numbers are going up rapidly in states like Louisiana, Michigan, Illinois and California.
