Psychiatric hospitals face potential coronavirus outbreaks amid unique challenges

The coronavirus is hitting patients and staff at psychiatric facilities across the U.S., and caring for this population comes with unique challenges during a pandemic. Catherine Herridge reports on Western State Hospital in Washington, where there have been 34 confirmed cases. Some staff members are concerned the hospital isn’t taking the virus seriously enough. Doctor on antibody test capabilities and accuracy concerns

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says his state will begin what he calls the “most aggressive” antibody testing program in the country. Gunman in Nova Scotia allegedly dressed as police officer

Canada is reeling from the deadliest mass shooting in its history. At least 16 people were killed when a gunman, reportedly dressed like a police officer, went on a weekend rampage across central Nova Scotia. Investigators say the suspect is also dead. Protests against stay-at-home orders grow across the country

The reported nationwide death toll is now more than 40,000, nearly double what it was a week ago.
