Normally, the gardens would see thousands of people strolling through the beautiful greenery in the Spring, but due to the U.K.’s coronavirus lockdown, it is empty. Chilling new book about pandemic draws similarities to coronavirus

A chilling new novel described a flu-like global pandemic, caused by a virus that started in Asia. “The End of October” was written by Pulitzer-winning author Lawrence Wright, who began the book back in 2017 and finished it in the Summer of 2019. Blue skies and clean air in Los Angeles after coronavirus lockdown

By some estimates, the pandemic lockdown has taken about 80% of passenger cars off local roads, leading to a dramatic reduction in air pollution. Los Angeles, infamous for its smog, has seen some of the world’s cleanest air in recent days, according to the CEO of a company that tracks global air quality. Concern mounts as Georgia prepares to reopen some businesses

Georgia is preparing for a soft open Friday amid the coronavirus outbreak. Some businesses will be able to return to normal, but must will continue following social distancing and sanitary guidelines.
