A new study from the Edith Cowan University in Australia says leisurely travel can help slow down the aging process by helping to “alleviate chronic stress, dampen over-activation of the immune system and encourage normal functioning of the self-defense system.” The study’s lead researcher Fangli Hu joins CBS News 24/7 to discuss the findings. FBI, DHS warn of 2024 election-related violence

The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security’s joint intelligence bulletin highlighted the threat of domestic extremism ahead of the U.S. election, saying extremists could target polling sites and rallies with physical attacks, swatting and doxxing. Trump, Kemp appear together in Helene briefing

Former President Donald Trump and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp made a rare joint appearance Friday to discuss Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. It was the first time the two have appeared together since 2020, as Trump has repeatedly attacked Kemp over the Georgia results of the 2020 election. Nikole Killion and Caitlin Huey-Burns report.
