Early COVID-19 vaccination data raises red flags over racial equity

Black Americans are receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at a significantly lower rate than White people nationwide. A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that 5.4% of people who received at least the first dose of the vaccine are Black compared to 60% who are White.
